Nyang is the son of Fessran and Cherfan of the same litter of Chika and Khushi. He appeared in Clan Ground and was mentioned in Ratha and Thistle-chaser.

Clan Ground[]
Nyang is portrayed as an arrogant and occasionally violent young cat. It is implied that he is Shongshar's closest ally. It was Nyang who pushed Bundi into the fire. Later, Nyang becomes one of the casualties during the downfall of Shongshar, being drowned by the river that was diverted into the cave to extinguish the Red Tongue inside.
Ratha and Thistle-chaser[]
Fessran reveals to Ratha that she still feels guilty about the death of Nyang. It's said he was the eldest of the litter, and Fessran would have liked to know him better before his death.
