|Species:||Dinaelurus illumina sapiens
(Un-Named but with will)
|Book Appearances:||Ratha's Creature|
All is known about him is that he have shaggy, sliver-gray fur.
He makes his first appearance in the stones-with-fangs with the other council leaders as seen in the picture below. Although he is shown to have little sympathy for the Named, he has concerns about the welfare of his people. He is among the others who are openly distrustful of Bonechewer, because he didn't aid them in the raids last seasons.
He is last seen frequently appearing to the pack's kills to feed along with the other leaders and Bonechewer, until the promise of warmer weather disolves the pack to return to their abandoned territories.
Gray Hunter: "For you and your people, it is easy to wait. My people have come far and empty bellies have no patience. How am I to answer them?"
Nightling: "In the language you have always used, gray hunter. Claws and, if needed, teeth. Do you doubt your strength?"
Gray Hunter: "It is talk I doubt. Let there be less of it. I and my people came to kill, not talk."
