Seamare is a species of peaceful sea mammalians living close the shore. They lives in group and feed mainly upon clams. They're met by the Named in Ratha and Thistle-chaser and are the target of a failed attempt to include the species among the ranks of the ones herded by the Clan.

They lives in group and females fight with energy to protect the foals from the attacks of tailed sea-lions predators. Thistle-chaser during his life as loner, manage to get in friendly mutualistic relationship with them: this will lead also the conflict between the lonely young female and the Named.

The Seamare are similar to the pre-historic genus of Paleoparadoxia.
